Maruti is all set to launch the Baleno facelift on February 23, 2022, and we've got hold of the official images of this premium hatchback. Maruti Baleno gets segment-first features like a 360-degree camera and head-up display. Once launched, it will target Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz and Honda Jazz. Let's have a look at the pictures of the 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift!
As can be seen, at the front, the facelifted Baleno now gets LED projector headlights that look quite premium than before. Furthermore, it also gets LED fog lights that'll further improve visibility on the roads where there is bad illumination.

Like the headlights, the grille design of the new Maruti Baleno is also restyled. Notice the U-shaped chrome strip that elegantly settles itself with the headlights at both ends.
This is the top-spec Alpha variant of the 2022 Maruti Baleno. It now gets new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels that look great. Maruti Baleno also receives power-folding ORVMs with turn indicators. The chrome door handles are a nice touch too and this variant will be equipped with UV cut glasses.
Here's another side profile shot of the 2022 Maruti Baleno facelift. There's an inverted L-shaped chrome surround on the rear quarter window as well.
At the rear, the changes are minimal but quite visible. Like the inverted L-shaped LED tail lamps, restyled bumper design with reflectors positioned at the top. The reflectors in the pre-lift version of the Baleno were positioned at the bottom part of the bumper.

The Zeta variant of the Maruti Baleno gets a rearview camera whereas the top-spec Alpha gets a 360-degree camera. The latter is quite a helpful feature for an inexperienced driver to park the car in tight spaces.

Mechanically, Maruti Baleno is powered by a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated DualJet petrol motor. This unit generates as much as 89 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 113 Nm. It is further mated to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard with an optional AMT gearbox.
