Within a month of its launch, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has achieved a significant milestone. Last month, the new Baleno was introduced, with major exterior and interior changes. Now, the 2022 Baleno has received an overwhelming response from the customers and it received over 50,000 bookings within a month. The 2022 Baleno has a starting price of Rs 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom) and has certain segment-first features.

When it comes to the exterior design, the new Baleno is striking. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift includes a reworked grille, a revised hood, LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, LED fog lights, a new front bumper with chrome inserts, and a large air dam. Depending on the variant, there are also new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, two-piece LED taillights, a chrome strip on the boot lid, an integrated spoiler with a high-mounted stop signal, and a redesigned rear bumper with reflectors and a number plate recess.
The car's cabin is also jam-packed with features, some of which outperform the competition. A Heads-Up Display (HUD), a new dashboard with redesigned AC vents on the center console, a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, an Arkayms music system, six airbags, and rear AC vents are available on the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
Talking about the engine, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno is driven by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with dual VVT that delivers 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated with a five-speed manual transmission and an automatic transmission. Also, the Maruti Baleno has the best in class fuel efficiency, with a manual transmission achieving 22.34 kmpl and an automatic transmission achieving 22.94 kmpl.

The 2022 Baleno comes in four trim levels, with pricing ranging from Rs 6.35 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
