The newly launched Maruti Celerio is one of the most talked-about hatchbacks in the country right now as it not only offers an attractive design language but in addition to this, also comes with an extremely fuel-efficient engine and a comfortable cabin. The CNG version of the CNG Celerio too is expected to be launched soon in the market. Amidst all this, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Celerio X has been digitally rendered and here is how the car is expected to look like.
This unofficial rendering by SRK Designs not only gives us an idea of how the new Maruti Suzuki X may look but also highlights a number of changes that can help in making the Celerio look bolder and more imposing on the road. For starters, the new Celerio X gets beefed up body cladding and a sliver faux plate at the front that gives it a rugged look. In addition to this, the car in the render also features a blacked-out front chrome grille in addition to blacked out ORVMs that gel in well with the design of this concept.

The side profile now features a new alloy wheel design while the ground clearance too is more than the standard model. Having said this, the side cladding too features a new silver insert. The rear of the car too is expected to feature a number of changes. It is, however, worth noting that this is an unofficial digital rendering and the actual version of the car may not resemble this rendering. The previous-gen Celerio too was available with a crossover version that was named the Celerio X. The earlier Celerio X looked more aggressive and rugged than the normal iteration of the car.
The newly launched Maruti Celerio features a new engine in addition to a completely new design language and an updated cabin. The new 1.0-L K10C motor not only boasts a maximum fuel efficiency of over 26 kmpl, but in addition to this, also offers better driveability and refinement. With a starting price of INR 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Celerio is a worthy rival to the cars like the Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago, Tata Punch, and the Renault Kwid. The price of the Maruti Celerio X is expected to start from INR 5..5-6 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand has however not yet revealed any launch timeline for the Celerio X. We do not expect any additional features to be offered with the Celerio X.
