Maruti Suzuki has launched the updated Ertiga, which includes new design and feature enhancements. The new Ertiga also has a new petrol engine with a CNG option. Not only that, but for the Maruti Ertiga 2022, the brand has included new colour palettes. Here are the top five things you should know about the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift.
Updated Engine
The MPV got a new engine with the update, and it now boasts a new next-generation K15C Smart Hybrid engine. The engine is a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine that produces 102 bhp and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. In petrol mode, the CNG variants produce 99 bhp and 136 Nm of torque, while in CNG mode, they produce 88 bhp and 121.5 Nm of peak torque.

The transmission has also been updated, in addition to the engine. The petrol and CNG variants come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, however, the petrol variants can also be bought with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
New Design Updates
The new Ertiga features a newly designed winged front grille, new machined dual-tone alloy wheels, new chrome garnish on the tailgate, and six colour options, including two new colours: Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown.
The car's interior features a new dashboard design with a metallic teak-wooden finish and two-tone seat fabric. The automatic versions of the 2022 Ertiga also have paddle shifters.
New Features and Equipment
Cruise control, one-touch window up with anti-pinch driver window, auto headlights with follow me home feature, electrically powered auto-folding ORVMs, and Suzuki Connect car tech are the new features on the 2022 Ertiga. A CNG-specific speedometer is also available in the S-CNG models. Aside from that, the MPV now has up to four airbags and hill-hold assist ESP.

CNG Variants
CNG is now available in the VXI, Tour M, and ZXI trim levels, while the new automatic gearbox is available in the VXI, ZXI, and ZXI Plus trim levels. Also, the TourM CNG variant was formerly based on the LXI model, but now the TourM variant is based on the VXI model.
Pricing
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is one of the most popular MPVs in India. This people mover now has more features as well as a new price. The petrol-only version of the Maruti Ertiga now costs between Rs. 8.35 lakh and Rs. 12.79 lakh (ex-showroom) while the S-CNG variant costs between Rs. 10.44 lakh and Rs. 11.54 lakh (ex-showroom).
