While the sedan segment is already on a downfall, we compare the Slavia sedan with Skoda's own C-SUV Kushaq neck-to-neck. Coming from totally different segments, what makes this comparison sensible is the price bracket. Both of these products fall nearly in the same price bracket.

2022 Skoda Slavia
While both of the cars cater to totally different segments, their exterior design and features have also been differentiated as per the requirements of the segment. The newly launched Slavia sedan has been designed with the identical Skoda design language comprising of clean body lines and subtle sharp edges; transforming the design into a timeless classic.
Skoda Slavia's front end uses sharp LED DRL-equipped projector headlights with identical hexagonal Skoda grille and mild use of chrome inserts. Skoda Slavia is longer than the outgoing Rapid sedan and is based on the R16 alloy wheels to provide a more cushioning ride. At the rear, sharp LED wraparound LED taillights feature Skoda littering midst the boot.
Interiors of Slavia have been inspired by the current generation Octavia and Superb sedan. Two-spoke steering wheel, round AC vents on the dashboard, use of piano-black inserts, and soft-touch plastic is readily visible inside the cabin.
Skoda has equipped the Slavia with tech such as the 10-inch infotainment system which possesses the Apple CarPlay as well as the Android Auto assist. Safety features include the use of ISOFIX seats, 6-airbags, Hill-assist function as well.
Mechanically Slavia is available with two engine options which include a 1.0-lt, 3-cylinder, turbo-petrol making 113.98 bhp @ 5000-5500 rpm of power. This engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission options. The second option is the 1.5-Lt, turbo-petrol, 4-cylinder engine which is the most powerful engine in the segment also. It produces a peak power of 147.52 bhp @ 5000-6000 rpm and is available with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox option.
The new Skoda Slavia is available between a price range of Rs 10.69-17.79 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Skoda Kushaq
The Kushaq is Skoda's entry into the busiest segment in India; the compact-SUV segment. Kushaq's design looks strikingly beautiful from the first glance itself. Prominent use of sharp lines and a mixture of chrome is spread throughout the exteriors of the C-SUV.
Kushaq's front also uses the same Skoda hexagonal grille while the headlights are very sharp as compared to Slavia. The LED DRLs and projector headlights make the Kushaq look more appealing than the segment rivals. Skoda has equipped the Kushaq with 17-inch wheels to cope with the bad road conditions.
The interiors of the Kushaq are very identical to the other cars in the Skoda's stable. Kuhsaq uses the leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel while the dashboard uses a black tone finish. While the Slavia interiors are beige in design, Kushaq is more dark-shaded inside the cabin.
On the features front, Kushaq is identical to the Slavia sedan with the same 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system available and other creature comforts such as wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, rear AC vents, etc. Kushaq has been equipped with the 6-airbags, hill-assist function, EBA, ABS, ISOFIX seats to provide a safe ride to the passengers.
Skoda Kushaq is priced between Rs 10.99-18.19 Lakhs (ex-showroom) thus making it slightly more expensive than the newly launched Slavia sedan.
