2022 Toyota Innova Hycross is soon going to debut in India. Ahead of its official launch, its big panoramic sunroof has been teased online by the company.

The 2022 Toyota Innova Hycross launch is just around the corner. But ahead of its official launch, Toyota has started teasing the details of the car. Firstly, the front profile and side profile were teased but now the big panoramic sunroof has been shown online. The latest teaser image is live on Toyota's social media handles. Innova Hycross Panoramic Sunroof Details
Speaking of the photo shared by Toyota Indonesia, the sunroof looks huge. Additionally, the big panoramic glass is supported by decent light blue ambient lighting. Once launched, the hycross will become the first Innova to get a sunroof in India. However, this teaser comes via the global handle of Toyota. Meanwhile, the Indian launch isn't far away either. Toyota has already revealed that it will debut the car in India by the end of November.
In the Indonesian market, it will be called Zenix. Speaking of other changes to the cabin, a big touchscreen infotainment system is also on the cards. Additionally, the ambient lighting shall be supported by leather upholstery. Meanwhile, the added chassis length will increase the space in between the rear captain seats. We are also expecting that it will get the latest features like HUD, 360-degree parking assist, etc. However, we can not be sure of the details until it officially debuts.
Supporting the muscular SUV-ish design will be an all-new chassis. The Hycross will be the first Innova to get a monocoque setup. Additionally, it will also get a front-wheel drive system. Toyota will sell the Hycross only with a 2.0-lt, petrol engine which will be mated with a hybrid powertrain. Hence, we are expecting good fuel economy figures and a silent cabin experience.
Verdict
The debut of Hycross shall take place in India soon. To be offered with a petrol-hybrid engine only; it will be more biased towards private buyers. Meanwhile, the Innova Crysta is suspected to be on sale side-by-side of it. We expect that it will be priced above Rs 20 lakh mark in India. Its main rivals are Mahindra Marazzo & KIA Carens.
