To compile this tech in it will cost a bomb to the company. Hence, axing it out and fitting a new engine is more cost-efficient. Therefore, the 1.5-lt turbo-petrol is going to make its way under the hood of the new car. This engine makes 160 bhp of peak power & 260 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the current 1.4-lt makes 140 bhp & 242 Nm of power & torque figures. Additionally, Hyundai will continue offering a 7-speed DCT gearbox with the new engine.
