Let's quickly look at the Comet EV- A super compact urban vehicle.
Powertrain
This urban 2-door EV is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery that claims a range of 230 km. This comes mounted onto the rear wheels of the car and produces 42 PS of power with a peak torque of 110 Nm. The charging support is set at 3.3 kW AC charging which takes the EV from 0-100 percent in just about 7 hours. However, there is no option for a fast charger.
Compact Urban EV With Features
It enjoys the tag of being the smallest EV Hatchback in India, beating even the Tata Nano in length. The dimensions stand at 2974mm in length, 1505 mm in width, and 1640 mm in height. The wheelbase comes out to be 2010 mm. This 2-door, 4-people electric hatch will have no problem in tight twists and turns, and also even in those peak office hours.

Wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, rear parking camera with sensors and guidelines, steering mounted controls, dual front airbags, and connected car tech are some of the features highlighted.
Pricing
The price tag at the launch, as the company says, is introductory. The prices after 5000 bookings are set to increase. Currently, it stands at Rs. 7.98 lakhs to Rs. 9.98 lakhs ex-showroom. The on-road price will differ from state to state, depending on the tax regime. Since these prices are introductory, expect them to rise a bit in the future.
