The latest photos leaked online show that the all-black edition of the popular SUV is soon going to be available for customers. Tata is currently witnessing huge demand for the newly launched model. Tata Safari Dark Edition - All Details
Tata Motors recently launched the new models of Harrier & Safari in India. The new Safari has undergone cosmetic revisions along with slight technical advancements. The Dark Edition is an all-black theme of the SUV which is uber popular among new buyers. The new Dark Edition starts at Rs 20.69 lakh. It is available in four variants - Pure+ S Dark, Adventure+ Dark, Accomplished Dark, and Accomplished+ Dark with manual and automatic gearbox options. The dark-themed model gets an Oberon Black exterior paint, a Blackstone theme for the cabin, 19-inch alloy wheels in black shade, & 'Dark' badges.
The new SUV gets a design inspired by the new Nexon. It has a revised front fascia with new LED projector lights & LED fog lights. The front grille and the bonnet have also undergone revisions for an enhanced muscular look. At the rear, it gets a connected light on the boot lid. Also, the LED taillights are now sharp and stretched out. The rear bumper is also revised in design.
On the interior front, the new dashboard is supported by a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, 10 speakers, a new digital console with improved graphics, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, & etc. Tata has also included touch HVAC controls on the new Safari. It also gets a new 360-degree parking camera assist and ADAS safety features. Tata has also recently scored a 5-star GNCAP crash test rating for the Harrier & Safari facelifts.
Verdict
While the new Safari comes with only diesel engine option, the new EPS and improved ride quality has made it a better value for money product. The increase in prices reflect the popularity of Safari & Harrier models. However, long waiting period means that the first batch deliveries shall start soon. There're no current dates/estimates available about the delivery dates of the new Safari.
