2023 Yamaha R15 V4, FZS, FZX, & MT-15 have debuted in India. The updated bike range now gets a standard traction control system & new colour options.

Yamaha India has updated its bike range with new colours & added tech. The 2023 Yamaha R15 V4 sports bike & the FZ series roadster bikes have received updates with a minimal price hike. 2023 Yamaha R15 V4 Details

As we reported earlier about the new updated R15; the new range starts at Rs 1,80,900 only. The updated model now gets LED turn indicators, colour TFT display, a standard quick shifter, LED & standard traction control. Additionally, it is offered in three colour options that are - Dark Knight (new), Racing Blue, & Metallic Red. The Dark Knight colour option is a new paint shade that offers a matte black outlook with golden alloy wheels.

Meanwhile, there is no change to its mechanical settings. Hence, the 155cc single-cylinder engine remains unchanged. Therefore, the performance of the latest model is also as exciting as the outgoing model. In addition to this, the R15 M variant has also been updated with the same updates. It is priced at Rs 1,93,900. All these prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

FZS & FZX Update Details

The roadster FZS V4 bike is also updated with new features and colours. It now gets LED turn indicators, LED flashers, & traction control. The updated model has launched at Rs 1,27,400 ex-showroom Delhi. It is available in three new colours - Metallic Black, Metallic Grey, & Majesty Red. Additionally, it gets a new LED headlight with LED DRLs. Meanwhile, the alloy wheels are coloured & the taillight is also LED now. Also, the golden alloy wheels are now standard on the new bike.

Meanwhile, the touring-oriented FZ-X bike now gets new colours as well as new features. The updated bike has received a mobile holder stand on its handlebar. Additionally, it has received a traction control system for enhanced safety. Meanwhile, the new colour options of it include - Dark Matte Blue, Matte Copper, & Matte Black. The price for the Dark Matte Blue is Rs 1,36,900 ex-showroom Delhi. However, the other two colour options are priced relatively cheaper at Rs 1,35,900 ex-showroom Delhi.

Yamaha MT-15 Update Details

Speaking of the R15's naked cousin; the 2023 Yamaha MT-15 has also received a minor update. The new model of MT-15 now gets a dual-channel ABS and repositioned pillion grab rails. Additionally, it gets LED turn indicators and flasher lights similar to the updated R15. Moreover, Yamaha has added a new gloss black & red colour shade. This shade looks amazing with red colour alloy wheels and golden USD forks. The price of the updated MT-15 is Rs 1,68,400 ex-showroom Delhi.

Verdict

With the new update, Yamaha India is eyeing to keep its sales pitch high. However, the RDE norms are just around the corner and Yamaha has not uttered out a single word about its preparations. But, during the launch of the newly updated bike range; Yamaha has claimed to update its whole range in India with E-20 fuel compliance by the end of 2023.
