Design
The design of the bike is unchanged. The new Pulsar F250 still embraces the semi-fairing around its fuel tank area. The connected panels have a projector headlight. The noticeable change is the new black colour with red and white graphics. The riding stance is semi-aggressive and it is sought to be a sports touring bike.
Features
The major change is the addition of a negative LCD speedometer console. This speedometer has been carried over from the Pulsar N250. It has Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, etc. Also, a USB phone charger is offered embedded in the fuel tank. Moreover, the bike gets a new electronic package. It has a traction control system now and 3 ABS modes: Rain, Road, and Off-road.
Hardware
Unlike its naked sibling N250, the new F250 doesn't get USD front forks. It is still using the telescopic suspension and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. This combination is designed as per the highway needs as well. However, the bike now rides on wider tyres. The front section is now 110 while the rear is now 140 in profile.
Engine
The engine on the new F250 is also unchanged. It is a popular engine and known for its strong mid-range performance. The 249cc single-cylinder oil-cooled unit generates a peak power of 24 bhp and 21.5 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed transmission is mated to it with a slipper-clutch.
Price and Rivals
The pricing of the updated model is unchanged. In fact, it is similar to the Pulsar N250. At Rs 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the new F250 makes a strong case for itself. Its main rival is the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Bajaj Dominar 250.

Verdict
Bajaj's attempt on updating its Pulsar series is evident. With time, Bajaj is slowly upgrading the whole Pulsar portfolio. The recently launched Pulsar NS400Z is one such example. The F250 has suffered in sales till now. However, the new updates and low pricing could change this sooner.
