The second generation of the Kia Carnival is set to launch on 2nd October 2024. Exterior
They say first impressions are the last impressions, and the Carnival certainly creates a positive one with its 'Tiger Nose' black and chrome grille, a signature styling trait of Kia cars. Complementing the grille are the Starmap daytime running lights (DRLs), which elevate its premium feel. And the most important feature-those tall, vertical intelligent ice cube LED auto headlamps - captivate attention. Down below, you'll notice the horizontal LED front fog lamps, perfectly matching the aesthetics of this long MPV.
Move aside and watch the big 18-inch diamond-cut alloys that look perfect for a car of this size. The luxurious aesthetics continue with black and white side sill garnish. Also, on the B-pillar, theres a chrome insert with a checkered pattern. Now, let's move to the back, where connected LED DRLs are present along with vertical LED tail lightsa very trendy automotive design applied here.
Other features on the rear are shark fin antenna, rear hidden wiper, rear defoger, with skid plates that incorporates reverse light, and rear fog light. Lastly, the door handles are in body colour which also has chrome accents.

Interior
Talking about the interior, let's start with the technology segment, where you get a single panel that includes two 12.3-inch HD displays for infotainment and the driver's display. Kia has named it "Dual Panoramic (12.3) Curved Displays." The infotainment system features wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with Kia Connect and OTA system updates.
There are two USB ports in each row, translating to a total of six USB ports. To engage gears, Kia has added a rotary dial called "Shift-by-Wire," similar to what we've seen in cars like Land Rover.
Lastly, there's an 11-inch advanced head-up display, a 12-speaker premium BOSE sound system, and a Drive Mode Select system with options like Eco, Normal, Sport, and Smart.

The first generation of the Kia Carnival was successful in India, and the upcoming model has already set a record even before its launch. The Carnival received 1,800 pre-orders on the first day of bookings. The expected price of this luxury vehicle starts at around Rs 40 lakh, and given the high demand, Kia has released the brochure early.
