2024 Maruti Dzire Exterior: A Touch Of Difference
After the launch of the Maruti Swift's fourth-gen, the stage is set for the updated 2024 Maruti Dzire to make its debut soon in the coming months. The updated sedan has been spotted on a few occasions in the past and the changes were evident. While it will share lineage with the new Swift, it comes with its own identity attributes. Save for the obvious elongated trunk space, you will get new alloys along with a new grill pattern. Improving upon this, a tweaked front bumper could complete the evolution.
Interiors: Different Vibe From Hatch Sibling
The upcoming 2024 Maruti Dzire will share the cabin with the Swift, but not without sliding some tweaks here as well. While it is now confirmed to offer a much 'Dzired' feature now (more on its in a bit), it will be getting a refreshed dual-tone upholstery. This has always been the case with previous generations as well. Other than this, the cabin is pretty much going to be the same. But time for the most fu part. The features!
Features: This Finally Makes Its Way
The new upcoming Dzire will go a step further and offer a single-pane sunroof, something that is favoured by a majority of new age buyers. On top of this, it will offer features like, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, automatic AC with rear vents, cruise control, push-button start/stop, height-adjustable driver seat, six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, hill-hold assist, and possibly a 360-degree camera for enhanced safety and convenience.

Powertrain
The Dzire will feature the same 1.2-litre Z series 3-cylinder petrol engine (82 PS/112 Nm) as the Swift, sharing the platform. Expect both 5-speed manual and AMT automatic transmission options, with the possibility of a later CNG powertrain variant. Interestingly, this new engine now churns out slightly less power than before but makes up for it in mileage. A fair bargain? Depends on what you value more.

Verdict
If you notice the evolution of Dzire, it has continually, altough minimally, has gone further to deviate from the Swift with every update. However, it does that always with grace, all the while keeping its legacy of the iconic charm maintained. This time around too, it would be no diferent.
