The new Swift comes at an affordable starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh, going up to Rs 9.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Since bookings opened, it has already received over 10,000 orders.

2024 Maruti Swift: Under The Hood
The latest Swift boasts a brand-new 1.2L Z-Series Engine, featuring 3 cylinders. It delivers a maximum power output of 60 kW (equivalent to 81.58 PS) at 5700 rpm, along with 111.7 Nm of torque at 4300 rpm. This engine is mated to either a 5MT transmission, offering a fuel efficiency of 24.8 km/l, or a 5AMT transmission, providing a slightly improved fuel efficiency of 25.75 km/l.
Verdict
The new Swift not only boasts an improved design but also comes with better features. While the new engine has slightly reduced power output compared to its predecessor, there's a significant increase in the mileage it offers.
