Hyundai witnessed several launches for 2020 and one amazing launch was of the new Hyundai Creta. However, now that the Unlocking process has started, Hyundai has revealed that more than 60% of the buyers are picking the 2020 Creta with Panoramic sunroof and the carmaker has received over 45,000 bookings.

Now, coming to the Hyundai Creta popularity first then 26% of the buyers are from South India. Rest 22% belong to the Western part of India, 20% from the North and another 22% from the Central. The eastern parts of India account for up to 10% of the bookings of the new 2020 Hyundai Creta.

Now coming to the popular engine options then it is the 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel which gets all the attention. Hyundai claims that 56% of the buyers for new Creta prefer the diesel engine. This one is highest in efficiency, makes 115 bhp of power with 250 Nm of peak torque and comes with a 6-speed manual or an optional 6-speed automatic.
The next-in-line is the popular variant option. Here, most users are now getting tech-friendly and want a feature-rich SUV with advanced features. Hyundai claims that 60% of the bookings account for top-spec SX and SX(O) variants which give panoramic sunroof and BlueLink technology. It is well suited for an SUV of its size that 30% of the buyers are opting for the automatic transmission. Hyundai offers varied clutchless gearboxes. For the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol it comes with an IVT gearbox, the 1.5L diesel comes with a 6-speed AT and the most powerful 1.4-litre turbo petrol is paired with a 7-speed DCT only.
