Xtreme 250R, the new flagship Hero product, is a street naked sportsbike, available to customers at Rs 1,79,900 ex-showroom, with three dynamic colour options, namely Firestorm Red, Neon Shooting Star, and Stealth Black. Thankfully, none of the colours cost more than the amount mentioned. Moreover, this bike was long awaited, and we at 91Wheels recently drove it on the outskirts of Udaipur, Rajasthan, where it literally spellbound us. The first look review is out; you can watch that below, and a detailed ride review is coming soon. So, press the bell icon on the 91Wheels YouTube Channel.
Specifications

Let's talk about its specifications and features on offer - Xtreme 250R has a mighty 249cc 4 stroke, single cylinder liquid cooled engine, making 30 ps and 25 Nm of torque, and the transmission load is lifted by a 6-speed gearbox along with assist and slipper clutch. Also, this bike is build on steel trellis frame, and stands on 17 Inch wheels, which also gets saftey assistance via a dual channel ABS with two modes. Talking about suspensions, front one are 43 mm upside down front fork and rear one is a monoshock with a 6-step pre-load adjustment. Above that, Hero gives it class-D projector headlamps with LED DRLs, also the winkers are in LED so does the tail-light.
The seat height of the Xtreme 250R is 806 mm, and the kerb weight is 167.7 kg, so if your height is shorter than 5.8 feet, riding this naked street bike would require a little extra strength. Moreover, the overall length is 2023 mm, and the ground clearance is 167 mm, and in person, this looks like one hell of a machine. Lastly, it has an LCD display with 35+ features, which we will discuss at a later stage.

Verdict
Hero Motorcorp is back with two bombshell motorcycles - the Xtreme 250R and Xpulse 210. Both are now ready to be booked for Rs 10,000, which is fully refundable if you decide to cancel your booking at a later stage. These bikes meet global standards, and the great part is that they are Indian bikes.
