Mahindra is prepping up to launch the BS6-compliant models of its older MUVs to complete its portfolio. So far, this Indian Utility Vehicle maker has updated almost all its SUVs and MUVs to meet the new BS6 emission norms, save for the TUV300 family. The Mahindra TUV300 and the TUV300 Plus are yet to receive the BS6 treatment as these UVs will get a minor facelift too. The new BS6 Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift has recently leaked on the internet, hinting its imminent launch. Here are some more details about it.
The Mahindra TUV300 Plus was launched in India in the year 2018. It is an XL-sized version of the TUV300 compact-SUV and it replaces the Xylo in the company's India line-up. The upcoming TUV300 Facelift will sport minor cosmetic changes. For starters, as you can see in the above image, it gets a new front fascia. While the BS4 TUV300 used to get a stacked-out five-slate grille with subtle chrome inserts, the new BS6 model will get an aggressive fascia. It will now get a dominant grille just like the new BS6 Bolero.

Also, one can notice that it will get a new headlamp section with integrated LED DRLs and a tweaked bumper with revised housing for the foglamps. It will also get a slightly bigger air dam area with a mesh-pattern honeycomb design. The side profile of the car isn't visible much in the image but we can see that it will now get roof-rails too. We also believe Mahindra will update its alloy wheels to make it look fresh. Some minor cosmetic updates are expected on the rear profile too like on the tailgate and the bumper.
On the inside, the TUV300 Facelift will get slight revisions. The dashboard layout will remain the same but it will now get Mahindra's latest 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and GPS navigation, etc. The older TUV300 Plus BS4 was powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk D120 diesel engine. However, according to the latest reports, it will now get the D140 tune just like the BS6 Scorpio. This BS6 motor will churn around 140 PS of power at 3750 RPM and 320 Nm of torque between 1500-2800 RPM. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
