Maruti Suzuki has now hiked the prices of one of their popular hatchbacks, Celerio by Rs 11,000 for some of the variants. Maruti Celerio is available in four variants - LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI Plus. The new prices start from Rs 5.25 lakh and fetch till Rs 7 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Powering the Maruti Celerio is a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor belts out as much as 66 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 89 Nm. In its CNG form, this unit produces 56 bhp of power and 82 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and also gets an AMT as an option. Mind you, Celerio CNG only gets a stick shift.

Feature-wise, the new Celerio is decently equipped too. It features a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manual AC, all-four power windows, push-button start/stop, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs and more.
Safety features on the Celerio include dual airbags at the front, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, ABS with EBD and more. The AMT versions of the Celerio also get hill hold control as standard.
