2024 Maruti Swift Facelift Mid-Variant VXI: Details

The Swift hatchback is easily the most popular & one of the best-selling cars in India. With the unveiling of its upcoming facelift, the audience wants to know in-depth about the new car. However, it is going to be a mid-life update & hence no major changes will be made to it. But, the new design & cabin changes have already created a buzz among the new buyers. As the displayed model at the Tokyo Motor Show'23 was a top variant, a photo of its mid-variant is out now. The mid-variant i.e. the VXI has been the best-selling variant of Swift in India. The new model will take the game one step ahead.

A close look at the photo of this mid-spec shows that it misses out on the fog lamps. The rest of the shape and design is the same as of the top model. Also, the new front grille gets chrome garnishing which makes it look upmarket. Meanwhile, the projector LED headlights are retained on the mid-variant. Additionally, the skid plate is of silver accent. The only change on the side profile is the different design of the alloy wheels. The rear profile will remain the same on the mid-variant. Cabin photos are still not out but we suspect that it'll get all major features like a touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, etc. Globally, it'll get a new 1.2-lt, 3-cylinder, petrol engine with smart hybrid tech & a CVT gearbox. But, we're unsure whether the Indian model will get it or not.
