Citroen launched the C3 in India at a starting price of Rs lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi and now the deliveries for the same have commenced. Citroen C3 is available in 19 cities of India and it targets the buyers of Maruti Ignis, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
Citroen C3 is powered by two engine options - 1.2L non-turbo petrol and 1.2L turbo petrol. The former pumps out as much as 81 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 115 Nm. It gets mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The turbo-petrol unit is a three-cylinder motor producing peak power and torque of 109 bhp and 190 Nm, respectively. This motor is mated to a six-speed stick shift and there is no automatic transmission on offer for both the motors. The ARAI-certified mileage of 1.2L non-turbo is 19.8 kmpl while the turbo petrol delivers 19.4 kmpl.

Feature-wise, it will get a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, a multi-function steering wheel with tilt adjustment, manual AC, a digital instrument cluster, diamond-cut alloy wheels, halogen lights with LED daytime running lights and more.
Safety equipment on the C3 includes dual airbags at the front, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, front seat belt reminder, a high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors, a reverse parking camera and more.
The C3 might not be equipped with some of the features offered by rivals like alloy wheels, electrically adjustable ORVMs and more. However, it is the only car in the segment to be available with over 70 accessories that are available across all Citroen dealerships in the country.
