Citroen India has introduced a brand-new, highly equipped Shine variantof the C3 hatchback. All the features that were lacking in the Live & Feel versions are now included in the new C3 Shine version. The starting price for the new variant is Rs 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom). New features for comfort, convenience, and safety are incorporated in the newly launched Shine variant of this B-segment hatchback.

Citroen C3 Variants & Pricing
The Citroen C3 now comes in three variants with costs ranging from Rs 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 7.87 lakh (ex-showroom) following the BS6 phase 2 update and the addition of a new variation.

Citroen C3 Shine Variant
Electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking cameras, day/night IRVMs, 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, front fog lamps, rear skid plates, rear wiper & washer, and rear defogger are some of the new features added to the new Citroen C3 Shine variant. As part of Citroen's Connectivity 1.0 plan, the Shine edition of this B-hatch will also have the MY CITROEN CONNECT app, which offers 35 Smart connectivity functions.
A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as USB fast chargers, dual LED DRLs, four speakers, a digital instrument cluster, and other features, remain as standard. Dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and other safety measures are included.

The brand has not made any changes to the engine specifications, a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder NA petrol engine that powers the brand's vehicles continues to provide 81 bhp of power and 113 Nm of peak torque. There is a 5-speed manual transmission for this engine. The 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine is the other available engine choice; it produces 110 bhp of power and 190 Nm of maximum torque. With this engine, a 6-speed manual transmission is paired.
Verdict: The new Shine variant will attract more buyers as it gets the missing features. The C3 has become a more potent competitor in its segment with the new feature offerings and aggressive pricing.
