The price of Citroen's entry-level C3 has hiked by up to Rs 18,000 yet again. The Citroen C3 now has a starting price of Rs. 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the French automaker's second price hike of the year. The initial price rise, which was announced in January, boosted the cost of this B-segment hatchback by as much as Rs 27,500.

Citroen C3 New Vs Old Price
Although the brand has not provided an explanation for the current price rise, this is unfortunate because the brand had raised its prices in January. The Citroen C3 is available in four trim levels, with the Live model starting at Rs. 6.16 lakh (ex-showroom). What's interesting about this is that the top-of-the-line Feel Turbo Dual Tone's price has remained constant and remains at Rs 8.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

This price increase does not result in any exterior or interior changes. In terms of features, it boasts a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as USB fast chargers, twin LED DRLs, four speakers, a digital instrument cluster, and so on. Citroen C3 Powertrain
The Citroen C3 is available with a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder naturally aspirated and 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine can produce a maximum of 81 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. The petrol turbo engine, on the other hand, produces 108 bhp and a maximum torque of 190 Nm. The first engine has a 5-speed manual transmission, whereas the second has a 6-speed manual transmission.
Verdict: Some potential customers might be turned off by the new price increase. The Tata Punch and Maruti Suzuki Ignis are competitors of the C3, however they offer a number of features that the C3 does not. Meanwhile, the company just debuted the eC3, an electric version of the C3 with a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
