Hyundai has released the updated price list for its premium hatchback, the Hyundai i20 with a bump in price tag. Thanks to the new emission norms and the rising cost of material and production. The price hike is something that has been a standard for all manufacturers starting April 2023. Earlier, Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra, and others revealed their price list for the year 2023.

The highest increase of Rs. 24,600 was noticed in the Asta (O) and the Asta (O) Dual tone Automatic. The lowest bump of Rs. 14,600 was attributed to the Sportz Manual and the Dual Tone variants. No, variant of the i20 Normal petrol is discontinued.

The biggest jump has been delivered to the Turbo petrol variants of the i20. Sportz Automatic now retails at an additional Rs.34,600 than before. What's interesting to note is that the diesel was axed from the i20 lineup due to the new emission norms. Also, all the manual options from Turbo petrol variants have been shelved.
VERDICT- With this new hike in price, the Hyundai i20 now retails between the range of Rs. 7,18,899 to Rs.11,87,800 for the top turbo petrol variant. This is very much in line with industry standards. Almost every carmaker has gone ahead with a price revision.
