Hyundai Venue E(O) Variant
The upcoming E(O) variant of the Venue will sit above the base E variant and will serve as a middle ground in terms of price between the E and S variants. Currently, the Venue is available in 5 variants: E, S, S+/S(O), SX, and SX(O). These variants can be had with either a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine, a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, or a 1.5-liter diesel engine. However, the new E(O) variant will only be available with a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine.
We predict that the upcoming E(O) variant will have a few more features than the E variant with base specs. Among other things, we may anticipate a factory-installed music system with speakers, a digital gauge cluster, front and rear power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear AC vents, steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, and a rear defogger.
Hyundai Venue E(O) - Engine Specifications
The upcoming variant will feature a 1.2-liter NA petrol engine that generates 113.8 bhp of torque and 82 bhp of power. There will only be a 5-speed manual gearbox for this powerplant.

Hyundai Venue E(O) Variant - Expected Price
The Venue's entry-level E model costs Rs 7.77 lakh (ex-showroom), while the S variant costs Rs 8.93 lakh (ex-showroom). We estimate that the price of the upcoming Venue E(O) model will be between Rs 8 and Rs 8.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
Verdict: The introduction of the new E(O) variant could be a strategic move to narrow the price difference between the E and S variants. This decision may have been influenced by market feedback and the need to enhance competition against rival models that offer a wide range of variants. Hyundai Venue competes with other sub-4 meter SUVs such as the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, and others in the Indian market.
