Hyundai Motors India has updated the Venue lineup by launching a new and more affordable variant of the sub-compact SUV. The newly launched variant is named Venue S (0) Plus by the automaker. The highlight of the new variant remains its electrically controlled sunroof. The Venue S (O) Plus costs around 1.5 lakh less than the Venue S (O) which offers a sunroof. Hyundai Venue S (O)+
The newly launched variant of the Hyundai Venue comes powered by the same 1.2 litre NA petrol engine which is on offer with the lower trims of the sub-compact SUV. The powerhouse on offer comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The latest Venue trim derives its whole set of features from the S (O) trim which is basically the third base variant of the sub-compact SUV.
Hyundai Venue S (O)+ Features
The newly launched variant of the Venue gets features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument console, LED headlamps, DRLs, automatic headlamps, rear parking camera and Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
In terms of safety, the new variant gets six airbags, Vehicle stability management, ABS with EBD, Hill-hold assist, Hill-start assist and ESC as well.
Hyundai Venue S (O)+ Rival Analysis
Priced at Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Hyundai Venue S (O) doesn't hold the tag of being the most affordable offering with an electric sunroof in its category. The Mahindra MX2 Pro trim offers this feature a lower price tag of Rs. 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai's new Venue S (O) Plus offers an attractive option for buyers with its sunroof and comprehensive features, all for a more affordable price. Priced at Rs. 10 lakh, it remains competitive but isn't the cheapest sunroof option in its segment, as Mahindra's MX2 Pro trim is available for Rs. 8.99 lakh. Overall, it's a compelling yet slightly pricey upgrade.
