The craze for sunroofs in cars is at its peak in the Indian market and carmakers are making this feature more and more affordable by offering it in lower variants. Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has made a similar move and launched a new S+ variant of the Hyundai Venue. The newly launched Hyundai Venue S+ variant is priced at Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with a single-pane electric sunroof. Read details of the newly launched S+ variant below.

Hyundai Venue S+ Variant Details
The new sunroof variant is priced at Rs 25,000 more than the S variant. This variant offers a decent number of features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, 6-airbags, ESC, automatic headlamp, TPMS, ISOFIX child seat mounts among other features.
The S+ variant is available with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 82 bhp of power and 114 Nm of peak torque. This engine is available with a 5-speed manual transmission only for the S+ variant.
With the launch of the S+ variant, the customer will be able to get sunroof at a lower price. This move came after Tata Nexon and KIA Sonet started offering sunroofs at more reasonable price tags. The Hyundai Venue competes with Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV 3XO, and other sub-4 metre SUVs.

Hyundai Motor India is known for its feature loaded offering and the launch of the more affordable sunroof variant will help the brand to get more customers.
