Maruti Suzuki Collaborates with Indian Navy for Northeastern Outreach
Yesterday, an impressive expedition commenced on a journey spanning 6,500 kilometres, setting off from the Indian Navy base in Lonavala. This expedition involves a team of 45 Navy personnel, and they're hitting the road with a convoy of five vehicles. Among these, you've got three rugged Maruti Suzuki Jimny off-roaders and a pair of their flagship Grand Vitara ALL-GRIP SUVs. Over the coming weeks, they will traverse various significant regions, including Mhow, Jhansi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Patna, Bagdogra, Gangtok, Lachen, Gurudongma, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Vishakhapatnam, and Hyderabad.

This adventure is divided into three exciting stages, each with its own special focus. Stage 1 kicks off at INS Shivaji and heads to Bagdogra. Stage 2 is all about exploring the beauty of Sikkim, while Stage 3 takes us from Gangtok, Sikkim, back to INS Shivaji, with a strong emphasis on empowering young people in rural areas along the eastern coast.
