Kia Seltos has always been a popular SUV and a good alternative for those who are not a fan of new 2020 Hyundai Creta's design. With its popularity, the Seltos is the second favourite mid-size SUV and it comes with several powertrain options. Today, we have something special which showcases a modified Kia Seltos in its automatic variant which gets OEM headlights, grille and much more. The cost settles at Rs 2 lakh and the owner has said, there will be more modifications coming to this one.

First things first, on the outside, the alloy wheels of the mid-spec variant have been replaced with the GT line ones. Also, there is a faux diffuser at the front and rear bumper which makes the look sporty. The owner has also used the chrome elements on the window line, door handles, rear strip and more places. At the rear, the reflector has been given a LED treatment.

The modification of this mid-spec model has been done in such a way that it looks like the top-spec model. Both the headlights and taillights have been replaced and given the LED treatment. Even the fog lights have been changed to ice cube ones. There are illuminated door sills which further enhance the look of the SUV. You also get to see the roof rails.
The exterior looks are not finished as it also sees the OEM GT line grille for that sporty appeal and the chrome knurling on the front bumper. The same is seen on the recently launched Sonet too which is a rival to the Hyundai Venue.
Sharing details on the interiors then it receives damping on all four doors for that better sound quality. The speakers have been replaced with Rockford punch series. It also gets moulded flooring. The owner has also opted for Android stereo which offers Voice Command feature. This car now also gets a front camera which eases out the parking in tight spaces. Also, the halogen lights in the cabin get replaced by LED lights.

This Kia Seltos automatic is the diesel auto which gets a 1.5L turbocharged motor. It generates 113 bhp with a peak torque of 250 Nm. It gets a 6-speed auto unit.
Verdict
If you ask us then the aftermarket work worth Rs 2 lakh is just bizarre. Considering it is the HTK+ model which costs Rs 13.69 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi, the owner could certainly opt for the HTX+ which is just priced at Rs 16.49 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
With this, you get an electric sunroof, power-adjustable drivers; seat, tyre pressure monitoring system, automatic climate control, front parking sensors, all the telematic, ventilated front seats and among other such features.
