Despite the absence of detailed product information, Mahindras newly trademarked names align with their established naming tradition. Following the precedent set by models like the Scorpio, Bolero, and XUV700 (pronounced as XUV seven-double-O), the XUV 7XO, XUV 5XO, XUV 3XO, and XUV 1XO all share a common suffix: the letter O. These trademarks are currently listed as Accepted & Advertised, signifying their public disclosure for scrutiny and allowing for potential opposition.
