Mahindra BE.05 Upcoming Electric SUV First Interior Look: New Details
Mahindra has been on a roll in the last few years when it comes to ICE SUVs. However, the brand also announced its entire range of upcoming electric SUVs last year in August. The range includes 2 SUVs under the XUV brand and 3 SUVs under the newly formed BE brand. All three SUVs under the BE brand will be born electric SUVs. Also, the BE.05 will be the first SUV under the BE brand to launch sometime around October 2025. Moreover, recently, the Mahindra CEO, Rajesh Jejurikar shared the first interior look of the BE.05 electric SUV. The interior looks radically new and unique. Looking at the first interior images shared by Mahindra CEO, one could easily see the radically new, unique, and futuristic interior layout of the BE.05 e-SUV. One can see the long centrally placed panel that separates the driver compartment from the co-driver compartment in the front. The dashboard also looks sleek with slim & continues running AC vents integrated into it. Also, it gets a futuristic multimedia screen with a two-spoke steering wheel. The BE.05 will be a part of the 'Born Electric' range of pure-electric products based on the INGLO platform. It'll possibly come with semi-active suspension, brake-by-wire, and ADAS with L2+ autonomous capability. In terms of battery, it is expected to get a 60kWh-80kWh capacity. This means that its real-world driving range will be near 500 km per charge or more.
Verdict
The BE.05 will be a game changer for Mahindra in India. It'll get a revolutionary design that is expected to take the EV game of Mahindra forward. However, there is still time until the BE.05 hits the roads. We suspect that Mahindra will debut the production-spec of BE.05 by the end of 2023 or early next year.
