Interior And Features

The previous spy shots of the XUV300 facelift reveal a notable enhancement to its interior a larger touchscreen infotainment system. While the base models are expected to retain the current 7.0-inch screen, higher trims will receive an entirely new 10-inch touchscreen, also set to feature in the upcoming Thar 5-door SUV. This advanced system appears to come with dedicated buttons for audio control and other infotainment functions. The facelifted XUV300 might also adopt a full-digital instrument cluster, among other upgrades.

Powertain

In terms of mechanical aspects, it appears that the XUV300 facelift won't bring about significant alterations. The existing powertrain options are expected to be retained, consisting of the 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engines producing 110hp and 131hp, along with the 1.5-liter diesel engine generating 117hp. These powertrains remain compliant with the BS6 Stage II emissions standards.

The XUV300 facelift is anticipated to hit the market in the coming year. Positioned to compete with formidable rivals such as the Hyundai VenueTata NexonMaruti Brezza, and the upcoming Kia Sonet facelift, Mahindra's updated offering promises to be a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.

Verdict

The upcoming XUV300 facelift showcases refreshed design elements, including striking headlamps and taillights, and an updated interior with a larger infotainment system. While no major mechanical changes are anticipated, this compact SUV remains a promising choice with its efficient powertrain options and contemporary styling. Mahindra's XUV300 continues to be a competitive player in the compact SUV segment.
