Mahindra & Mahindra launched a performance-oriented version of its sub-4-meter SUV in the form of XUV300 TurboSport in October last year. At a starting price of Rs. 10.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the vehicle features the most potent petrol engine in the segment. While the range-topping W8(O) trim will set you back by Rs. 12.75 lakh (ex-showroom), the base W6 trim still costs quite less and makes a case for itself by being the most affordable as well as the powerful option of the lot. The vehicle is a sporty performance-oriented version of the regular XUV300 and definitely looks the part. Upfront it gets an all-black front grille with Mahindra's new Twin Peak logo right at the centre and subtle red accents towards the right. The grilled is flanked by a pair of halogen headlamps and the base model skips on the LED DRLs as well as the fog lamps. Coming down, the prominent air intake also gets the horizontally running red strips.
Towards the sides, the 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, black ORVMs and fender-mounted side turn indicators along with side body cladding are the highlights. The rear profile of the sub-4-meter SUV is quite simple and gets LED tail lamps accompanied by an all-black bumper. It skips on a rear wiper and washer as well as the roof spoiler.
