Maruti has hiked the prices of their compact SUV, Vitara Brezza by a hefty Rs 15,000. This comes just after the launch of the XL6 facelift. Mechanically, Maruti Brezza is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This engine generates as much as 103 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 138 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission is observed as a standard fitment and a 4-speed torque converter as an option. The ARAI certified mileage of Brezza sticks to 17.03 kmpl for the manual and 18.76 kmpl for the 4-sped AT.

In other news, Maruti is all set to launch the new Brezza in coming weeks. This new model is expected to host a lot of features like an electric sunroof, a bigger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, head-up display, 360-view camera and more.
Safety features too on the new Brezza will increase and as per reports, the new model will be safer than before. The current-gen Brezza receives Global NCAP crash test rating but with the launch of new model, it is expected to receive 5-stars which is similar to Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300.
