Maruti Suzuki is filling up its BS6 bucket fast from its competition and it now has dropped CelerioX which is priced at Rs 4.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 5.67 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Indian carmaker is providing this hatchback in a total of four trims - VXi, VXi(O), ZXi and ZXi(O).

Maruti CelerioX BS6 sees a hike in prices and is now retailed at a premium of Rs 15,000 more than the BS4 model. All variants of the CelerioX sees a similar hike.
Other than the hike in prices, the CelerioX remains unchanged under the hood. It still produces 68 bhp along with a peak torque of 90 Nm from the 1.0-litre petrol engine. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional AMT unit. The ARAI certified mileage sticks to 21.63 km/l.
Sharing more details on this crossover looking hatchback then CelerioX is a groovy version of the standard Celerio. The changes mostly include a cosmetic treatment on the exteriors but that does make a lot of difference in its appeal.
The hatchback gets black plastic cladding all over the body and roof rails on the roof which gives it a beefy appeal. Also, the top trims of this car receive contrasting black alloy wheels which improve the aesthetics of the hatchback. Do observe the plastic cladding at the rear which further gives its sportier appeal.

Safety-features on the CelerioX include dual airbags with Antilock Braking System and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. It also gets rear parking sensors, high-speed alert system and front seat belt reminders for further safety.
The BS6 version of CelerioX competes with the likes of Hyundai Santro and Tata Tiago NRG. This funkier looking hatchback from Maruti is aimed for young buyers.
