The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is celebrating its first anniversary with over 75,000 happy customers across the country. The S-Presso was launched in India on September 30, 2019, and the company markets it with a tagline of 'Living it up.' Bollywood Actor Varun Dhawan is also featured with the car in the company's official TV commercial ad. The Maruti S-Presso has been a blockbuster hit for the company with over 75,000 ecstatic customers to date.
The S-Presso has been one of the best-selling cars in its segment. All thanks to its funky styling, spacious interiors with a commanding front seat view and best-in-class technology, the S-Presso lure the young buyers. In fact, it has been specifically designed for the young urban Indians who love to seek thrilling experiences. The S-Presso is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre petrol engine that churns out 68 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (AGS in Maruti's words).

Speaking on the success, Mr Shashank Srivastava, Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "Within a short span of a year, Maruti Suzuki S- PRESSO has carved a strong niche for itself with many segment-first features like a dynamic centre console with SmartPlay infotainment system, steering mounted audio and voice control etc. In line with the aspirations of young India, S-PRESSO is exclusively designed to offer a mini SUV feel with the best of technologies and features.

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is currently sold in four variants - Standard, LXi, VXi and VXi+ with prices starting at Rs. 3.70 lakhs - 4.99 Rs. lakhs. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi.
