Maruti Suzuki Motors is one of the most likeable carmakers in the industry. People prefer opting for Maruti models not just because they are budget-friendly but are also low on maintenance. Today we will conduct a comparison between the latest generation of Celerio which has just hit the markets and WagonR which is already hitting the sales chart regularly. The Maruti Suzuki WagonR vs New Maruti Celerio comparison will help you better understand the cars.
Features
Maruti Suzuki revealed the upcoming generation of the 2021 Maruti Celerio. The carmakers have finally launched the hatchback in the market. The car will carry noticeable changes in platform, technology and design. The new model will have a more curvaceous form factor with a more subtle front fa硤e.
The new model retains the tallboy stance. There will be several hints of the latest Swift as well as the S-Presso in the design of the new model. Maruti has also revamped the interiors of the car and will offer many new features, including a SmartPlay compatible touchscreen infotainment unit. The hatch will carry a Suzuki Connect module that will offer features like geofencing, vehicle status, driving analytics, and more. The safety features will include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and reverse parking sensors.
Not only the interiors of the car have been tweaked but also the design language of the car has been revamped. It will feature a more roundish styling than a boxy look like before. The front fascia feature new elements such as sweptback headlamps and fog lamp housing on the lower section of the new bumper.
The profile continues the rounded look on the extended wheelbase with a tapered roofline that accentuates its enhanced length. The rear section is also rounder than before with wraparound tail lamps and a redesigned bumper with blacked-out elements. Due to its shape and design, Maruti will be able to call it a mini crossover. At the front, the car gets a new grille design.
The side profile comprises angular creases, a long tapering roofline, and more prominent wheel arches which make the hatch look more SUV-ish in proportions.
Now lets take a list of features WagonR is offering. Though it is being said that both the cars will carry the same specifications, the only difference can be seen in the design language.
