Maruti Suzuki XL6, a premium version of the Ertiga was launched back in August 2019 and the sales of the MPV have now gone over the 15k mark. The Maruti XL6 gets revamped styling bits and features which makes the MPV differentiate itself from the Ertiga. This premium 6 seater is sold via Nexa outlets.
The sales report here depicts the overall sales of Maruti XL6 which has crossed 15,000 marks in less than six months. The distinct design approach, updated features and the 6-seater layout are among several reasons for the sales of the XL6. The MPV is sold through NEXA dealerships which is a premium version to the Maruti Suzuki ARENA showrooms.
Maruti Suzuki XL6 comes in a sole 1.5-litre petrol engine, unlike the Ertiga which is available in a petrol, diesel and CNG form. The 1.5L, naturally aspirated petrol motor churns out 103 bhp along with a peak torque of 138 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a four-speed torque converter.

This 1.5L petrol motor is equipped with Maruti's mild-hybrid system, also known as the SHVS. This technology was earlier available with oil burners to improve the fuel efficiency but now only comes in petrol engines. It ensures the idle start/stop of the engine along with energy regeneration system.
Maruti XL6 all-black cabin feels a lot more premium than the Ertiga. The availability of captain seats in the middle row just adds up to the same comfort level as the front row passengers. The MPV also gets leather upholstery reserved for higher trims and also boasts cruise control as a feature.
On the outside, the XL6 stands out with blacked-out alloy wheels, roof rails, full LED headlamps cluster, larger wheel arches, Daytime Running Lights and fog lights. The MPV also comes in a new Nexa Blue colour scheme which differentiates it from the Ertiga.

The Maruti XL6 comes in four trims only - Zeta, Alpha, Zeta AT and Alpha AT. The prices for the same starts at Rs 9.8 lakh and the top model fetches up to Rs 11.48 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
