Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the much-awaited Ignis facelift at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Indian carmaker brought in the Brezza facelift yesterday and revealed the Futuro-e concept on the first day of Auto Expo.
The 2020 Maruti Suzuki Ignis facelift gets subtle exterior and interior changes along with the upgraded BS6 engine. The 1.2-litre, K-Series, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol motor makes 83 bhp along with a peak torque of 113 Nm. Transmission sticks to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. The ARAI certified mileage stands at 20.89 kmpl.
Sharing the details about the facelift design then it gets refreshed front and rear bumper design. It gets a new four-tooth grille inspired from the S-Presso and receives faux scuff plates which are found at the front and rear profile.
The cabin gets an updated 17.78 cm infotainment screen that supports connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It can be connected with the cloud which provides basic information like live traffic, voice recognition, driver safety alerts and vehicle information.
The facelifted Ignis now gets upgraded with new exterior paint shades - Lucent Orange and Turquoise Blue. There are also three new dual-tone colours - Nexa Blue with Silver, Lucent Orange with Black and Nexa Blue with Black.

The prices of the facelifted Maruti Ignis are not yet out but the bookings for the same have already started across all NEXA dealerships. It competes with the likes of Mahindra KUV100, Ford Freestyle and upcoming Tata HBX.
