MG Motors has started taking official bookings for the Comet EV from today, that is, 15 May onwards at Rs. 11,000. The test drive of the same is currently underway. Although offline dealerships were taking unofficial bookings since its launch, now the official online channel through the official MG website is active as well. MG Comet Introductory Pricing Limited To 5000 Bookings Only
Since the bookings are already open, it is worth noting that the introductory prices of the Comet EV are limited to just the first 5000 bookings. After this mark, you can expect a revised price tag for the same. The introductory launch start price of the Comet EV stands at Rs. 7.98 lakhs ex-showroom. It tops out at Rs. 9.98 lakhs for the top-level trim. In addition to this, to ensure that the delivery process is completely transparent, an industry-first: Track and Trace feature on the MyMG app. This feature will allow customers to trace the status of their car bookings from their phones itself.

Dimensions And Power
The MG Comet EV is powered by a 42PS rear-mounted electric motor paired with a 17.3kWh battery pack. The claimed range is a decent 230km. Using a 3.3kW home charger, it takes around 7 hours to charge from 0-100 %. However, No fast charging option is available with this model.
Coming to dimensions, it is a super compact vehicle. This 2-door compact electric car has space for four people inside. It has a length of 2974, width of 1505, and a wheelbase of 2010mm. This makes it the shortest car in the market and results in a small turning radius of 4.2 meters only.

It sports a 10.25-inch dual-screen layout on the dashboard. One acts as the fully-digital instrument cluster and the other for infotainment purposes. Other features include wireless Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay, over 55 connected car features, voice controls, and more.
