Mahindra has done a great job with its new offering, the XUV700. The SUV has already won the hearts of many and has the highest waiting period so far across the entire car market. However, Mahindra is not the one to rest on its laurels and has been working overtime on the next generation Mahindra Scorpio, which it has been spied testing an umpteenth number of times. There are even many speculative rendering images doing rounds of the web to give one an idea of what the new car will look like.
Earlier today, an alleged image of the rear-three-quarters of what was being called the Mahindra Scorpio surfaced online. However, it must be noted that this picture is nothing but a part of the official press kit for the GMC Acadia. The picture has been morphed with the old Mahindra logo to help it pass off for a new Scorpio.
Back in 2002, Mahindra introduced Scorpio to the Indian market and since then, to date, the SUV has been a workhorse for Mahindra. Scorpio is a reasonably powerful and rugged SUV that has been the choice of many small SUV buyers. It's highly likely that the next generation of the Scorpio will be revealed in the first half of next year and the numerous spy pics have revealed that the SUV has not just grown in dimensions but would even have a more upmarket cabin.

At the same time, the SUV from the rear looks modern with LED taillights that look a bit similar to XUV700, a newly designed bumper, dual exhaust pipe, and sporty skid plate making the rear profile. To give the SUV a characteristic look the SUV will come with a shark fin antenna and functional roof rails, and black coloured alloy wheels.
