Hyundai has showcased the all-new generation of Creta at the 2020 Auto Expo and the launch is slated post-February. The prices of the new SUV are expected to see an increase over its predecessor. The Creta will lock horns with the current segment leader, the Kia Seltos.

Like the earlier generation which used to comes in two petrol and two diesel engines, this all-new 2020 Hyundai Creta Creta packs the engine from the Seltos. Yes, the 1.5L BS6 petrol and diesel motor which churns out 115 bhp on tap. There is also a performance-oriented Creta which gets the 1.4L turbo petrol motor.
Transmission on the same includes a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard across all trims. As far as the automatics are concerned then the diesel gets a 6-speed auto, 1.5L petrol gets a CVT and turbo petrol receives a 7-speed DCT.

Visually, the all-new Creta gets a wholesome design change with a major overhaul at the exteriors and interiors. It's been a while that Creta has topped the mid-size SUV chart. It is the new entrant Seltos which has been spreading its magic.
Hyundai has brought in the split headlight design set-up which gets LED Daytime Running Lights at the top while the headlights are placed below them. And the Creta receives the signature cascading grille but is now larger in size.
Moving onto the side profile you see new alloy wheel design and do notice that the SUV has grown in dimensions. The rear continues with the split light section and gets LED taillights. There is also a chunky LED Lightbar which looks like an aftermarket accessory.

Hyundai is known for providing features to the Indian buyers and Creta is no exception. Yes, we now see a large panoramic sunroof and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It will come with connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with BlueLink Technology which supports connected car features.
Safety features comprise of 6-airbags, Antilock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. High-speed alert system, ISOFIX mount child seats, front seat belt reminders come as standard.
