The Mahindra XUV300 is one of the most capable offerings in the market and not only offers a good looking package but in addition to this, is also offered with a long list of safety features, powerful engine options, and long list of features. With increasing competition from the rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger, the XUV300 now faces stiff competition in the market and is now all set to get a major facelift in the coming months. Here are the top five things that we know about the new Mahindra XUV300 facelift.
New Petrol Engine
The new mStallion petrol engine line-up was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020 and the 1.2-L turbocharged mStallion motor is expected to be offered with the upcoming XUV300 facelift. This new engine will boast a peak power output of 130 bhp and 230 Nm of peak torque while the current 1.2-L engine delivers 110 bhp and 200 Nm of maximum torque. No changes will be made to the diesel motor and the transmission options too are expected to remain similar.

Updated Cabin
While the XUV300 offers a premium cabin and spacious seating experience, the new facelift model will boast an updated cabin with better looks, sorted ergonomics, and better quality levels. The centre console too is expected to get a major update. On the safety front, features like dual-front airbags, ISOFIX mounts, seat-belt reminders, etc are expected to be offered as a standard part of the package.
Longer Features List
In addition to revised interiors, we also expect Mahindra to offer a longer and improved features list with the XUV300 facelift. For starters, the car may get a new AdrenoX infotainment system, digital instrument console, etc. Other features like push-button start, automatic headlamps, etc will also be on offer.

Better Looks
Needless to say, the XUV300 facelift will feature a number of cosmetic updates that will help it boast a fresh look and a dominating road presence. While the brand is yet to release any details, the new XUV300 might offer a more aggressive and imposing design language with new alloy wheels, revised tail lamps design, etc.
Launch Date And Price
While the Indian carmaker is yet to announce the official launch date, the XUV300 facelift is expected to make its Indian debut in Q3, FY 2022 in the Indian market. The XUV300 facelift price too is expected to get a significant hike and will be more expensive than before.
