Renault has sold over 28000 units of the Triber MPV despite the absence of an automatic gearbox. Now Renault is ready to fill the gap of the convenience given by an AMT and they are launching the AMT near April 2020. The engine is still the same which is a 1.0 litre 3-cyl Energy series petrol engine with 72 Ps and 96 Nm of torque. After April, Triber will be available with both manual and AMT gearboxes.

Talking about the changes, no changes have been made to the Triber but a new Brown colour has been showcased at the event with some decals all around. The faux skid plates also have received some Blue accents and the same case is with the interiors too. Bule Seat cover stitching and some new colour accents have also been added in the interior.

We expect Renault to price the Triber AMT around Rs 20000 more than the manual variant. Renault Triber BS6 range kick starts from Rs 4.99 lakhs and goes to 6.78 lakhs ex-showroom.

Renault is also prepping up to launch the Kwid Kze and Zoe EV and both are on showcase at Renault Pavillion. Renault has achieved the achievement to become the number one European brand in India with over 6 lakh happy customers. Renault India has also been testing the upcoming compact SUV codenamed as HBC. Surprisingly, it was not on display at the event. We expect Renault to launch the HBC in the middle of the year.
