Renault has steeped into the BS6 space with the Triber which has been launched at a starting price of Rs 4.99 lakh ex-showroom and the top RxZ variant is priced at Rs 6.78 lakh. Its sees a price hike of Rs Rs 4000- 29000 for some variants.
Renault Triber continues to use the same 1.0-litre 3-cyl naturally-aspirated VVT engine churning out 72 Ps and 96 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a sole 5-speed manual transmission and the AMT gearbox is in pipeline. The ARAI claimed fuel economy was 20 km/l for the BS4 engine and we expect the same from the BS6 engine as well.

Not only that, but Renault will also showcase the AMT version of the Triber and their Compact SUV codenamed as "Renault HBC".

Renault Trbiber BS6 still comes out to be a great package at an affordable price. It can seat 7 in good comfort and is frugal too. What we want is a more powerful and refined engine and also an AMT gearbox and both are coming really soon. These additions will help the Triber to gather more buyers.
