It appears that Skoda Auto India is getting ready to introduce a new version of the Kushaq & Slavia. The Skoda Kushaq & Slavia Matte edition has been spotted with a test licence plate, so it appears to be coming soon. Our sources suggest that the Kushaq & Slavia Matte edition will release in January 2023. Although the features and mechanicals are anticipated to remain the same, the Matte edition will contain a number of cosmetic modifications. The new matte edition of the Kushaq has been spotted by auto enthusiast Saurabh Pilare.

Skoda Kushaq & Slavia Matte Edition
Regarding the introduction of the Matte edition of both the car, the brand has not provided any information. The Kushaq Matte edition has been sighted with a test number plate on the car, whereas the Slavia Matte edition was first spotted a few months ago. Most likely, both automobiles in the Matte Edition will be available in one matte black colour. The Skoda Kushaq and Slavia lineup's top-spec Style variant is anticipated to receive the Matte edition. Additionally, the Matte edition option is anticipated for the 1.5-litre model as well.
On the features front, the Matte Edition will carry forward the features of the top-spec Style trim. The features of the Style trim includes LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, a push-button start/stop system, alloy wheels, automated climate control, auto IRVM, an electric sunroof, cruise control, ventilated cooled front seats, and more. On the other hand, the Slavia lacks ventilated seats but receives a nearly identical set of amenities.

Skoda Kushaq & Slavia Engine
Both Skoda vehicles come with a choice of two engines. One is a 1.5-liter TSI gasoline engine, while the other is a 1.0-liter TSI gasoline engine in India. The former generates 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, while the latter generates 148 bhp and a maximum torque of 250 Nm. The 1.5-litre engine is coupled with a 7-Speed DSG transmission and a 6-speed stick shift, while the 1.0-litre TSI engine is coupled with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
Verdict: The new Matte Edition is anticipated to cost between Rs 70,000 and Rs 1 lakh more than Kushaq & Slavia's current ex-showroom price. The Kushaq will be the second SUV available; at the moment, the Kia Seltos is the only SUV in its category come with factory painted matte black colour
