Skoda recently launched its compact affordable SUV Kushaq in India. The SUV was able to maintain decent sales as well. Kushaq customers have raised complaints about multiple problems in the car whereas Skoda India Auto has confirmed that the problems will be resolved soon.

Multiple problems have been detected in the SUV including loss of power and the EPC (Electronic Power Control) malfunction warning alert. Skoda has promised its customers that the problems faced will be solved. Customers who are facing problems with their fuel pumps can visit any authorised service centre and the affected model will be replaced free of cost.
Skoda India has assured us that the faulty fuel pumps will be replaced with new ones. Customers with such complaints will be contacted by the company as soon as they receive the product. Skoda has given a guarantee that the upcoming models will have much stronger fuel pumps.

The Kushaq underpins the same MQB AO IN platform used in its sibling, Volkswagen Taigun. It is available with two engine options, 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI which is also available in three trims - Active, Ambition and Style.
Skoda has recently updated safety features on top-line Style trim. It now comes with six airbags which earlier used to be only two and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). With the addition of these two major safety features, Skoda also hiked the prices by Rs 40,000.
The 1.0-litre variant of the compact SUV now asks for a premium of Rs 16.20 lakhs (ex-showroom) and 1.5-litre asks for a premium of Rs 18 lakhs (ex-showroom). Skoda will commence the deliveries of the updated Kushaq from next month. The top-of-the-line trim comes with in-car wi-fi, 10-inch infotainment touch screen system compatible with smartphones, connected car tech, leatherette seats, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, ambient lightning, sunroof, new steering wheel design and more.

The safety kit now includes six airbags, a traction control system, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, a multi-collision braking system, auto headlamps and rain wipers, and park assist.
