Skoda India has launched a new flagship vehicle in the Indian market the Superb at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom). The Superb will be available in 100 units as a completely built-up unit (CBU). Price & Availability
The Superb is launched in a single Laurin & Klement trim which is priced at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom). The sedan will be brought in India as a fully built unit and will be available in 100 units only.
Exterior
The newly launched Skoda Superb comes with a signature Skoda design language. The front grille gets chrome treatment, and the lower bumper gets air dams, LED fog lamps with cornering function, and LED headlamps with crystalline treatment. The side profile gets a new 18-inch Propus AERO alloy wheel which looks great on the car. The rear also gets an LED crystalline tail lamp and a chrome chrome-plated strip on the rear bumper. The overall design language of the Skoda Superb gives it a premium sedan look.
Interior & Features
On the interior, the Superb gets a cognac perforated leather upholstery, a two-spoke steering wheel with Laurin & Klement badging, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 11-speaker Canton music system, a Skoda virtual cockpit, electrically adjustable seats with massage and memory function, 3-zone climate control among other premium features. At the rear row, it gets a power nap package.
Safety Features
On the Safety front, the newly launched Superb gets a 5-star crash test rating in Euro NCAP for child and adult safety. Safety features include 9-airbags, fatigue and drowsiness detection, park assist, dynamic chassis control, emergency brake assist, 360-degree camera, and active TPMS among other safety features.

Engine
The new Superb comes with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which produces 190 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The brand has launched the Superb in a single variant.
Verdict
Skoda Superb is now the flagship vehicle of Skoda in the Indian market. This sedan competes with some premium brands such as Audi, BMW, & Mercedes-Benz. The pricing of the Superb is bit on the higher side but its time for rejoice for Skoda sedan fans.
