MG Gloster
The new MG Gloster has been spied testing on the road multiple times. The upcoming MG Gloster will feature a twin-turbo diesel engine, producing 213 bhp of power and 478.5 Nm of torque. It is going to be a 4X4 wheel drive, mated with 8-speed gearbox. Talking about the rival it has been assumed that the upcoming MG Gloster is going to directly lock Horns with the Toyota Fortuner and will challenge its supremacy in the Indian market.
2. Hyundai Creta EV
The launch of the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV is expected somewhere around January 2025. The EV is going to launch with multiple changes whether the new interior theme, is influenced by the Ioniq range and the quad-dots design on the steering wheel. Moreover, it is going to offer a steering column-mounted gear lever which makes it convenient for the driver to shift gears. Talking about its motor it is going to feature a FWD single-motor setup. It is claimed to run around 500km of range on a solitary charge.
3. Kia Syros
The all-new Kia Syros will be officially unveiled on December 19 and it will start arriving in showrooms from early 2025. The automaker has loaded this giant with a set of features such as a panoramic sunroof,360-degree camera, terrain modes and a new steering wheel. The Syros will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. In terms of design, the Kia Syros will offer a boxy design, inspired by its elder siblings EV9 and the Carnival.
4. XUV 3XO EV
Ending the year with an electric punch by launching the BE 6 and XEV 9e, India's biggest SUV maker has some more electric stuff to introduce. One upcoming car to join its electric lineup is the electrified XUV 3XO. The XUV 3XO EV will be positioned against the likes of the Nexon EV and the upcoming Creta EV. Replacing the currently available XUV 400 EV, the EV XUV 3XO will probably be equipped with the same powertrain, with the shell of its ICE counterpart.
5. Tata Harrier and Safari EV
Tata Motors also has plans to have some electrifying in 2025 by launching the Harrier EV and Safari EV. There is a great probability of these vehicles launching in the first half of 2025. These EVs will make a big impact on the Indian electric car market as we don't have any mass-market EV models in the respective segment. The Harrier and Safari EV are expected to share a similar powertrain setup. A notable thing about these EVs is the availability of a 4WD dual motor setup which will make these one of a kind in the segment.
