The highlighted variant in the Safari facelift lineup is the Smart (O), positioned at a price of Rs. 16.69 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant is laden with a comprehensive set of features aimed at enhancing both safety and comfort. Noteworthy inclusions are the provision of six airbags, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, automatic climate control, height-adjustable driver and co-driver seats, central locking, and power windows for all occupants. The versatile 60:40 split second-row seats contribute to the adaptability of the interior space, while the all-four disc brakes ensure efficient braking capabilities.
Furthermore, the Smart (O) variant stands out with its connected LED DRLs and taillights, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), electrically adjustable ORVM (Outside Rear View Mirror), third-row AC vents, and a unique boss mode. However, it is important to note that this variant does not include an infotainment system.
Powertrain
The updated Safari facelift retains its mechanical strength, housing the proven 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine. Paired with a six-speed manual and an automatic torque converter unit, this engine produces an impressive 168bhp and 350Nm of peak torque.
