While it is wider by 55 mm, the difference in height is a mere 5 mm, but since we are talking about concrete numbers, this was an essential mention. However, the Aura offers a more practical boot space for CNG variants due to its dual-cylinder technology, which allows for the placement of CNG tanks beneath the boot floor, maintaining ample luggage space. Let's chart the dimensions out for a much better understanding.

2. Sunroof
The Maruti Dzire in its new avatar is now the first in the segment to offer a sunroof. You get a single-pane electric sunroof which is something that Indian buyers want and adore. We will not be getting into the debate if it's worth having or not, it surely makes the cabin feel more roomy and is a pretty neat addition to soak in the sunlight. However, considering how some people pop out of the sunroof in a moving car, this feature sure comes with a responsibility as well.
3. Bigger Infotainment Touchscreen
The Dzire comes with a bigger 9-inch display when compared to the 8-inch display of the Aura. This unit is shared across some other Maruti cars as well and comes with wireless Android auto and Apple carplay. This same screen also serves as the display for the 360-degree camera which adds better functionality to the safety feature.

In terms of safety net, the Dzire scores a full house of 5 stars in the GNCAP crash tests and offers 6 airbags as standard and much more. On top of everything else, it also offers another segment-first feature, which is the 360-degree camera. This feature makes life easier when navigating through tight spots or going through those narrow roads on hilly areas.
Verdict
Maruti as a brand name has a special place in the Indian car space with over 50% market share captured by this single entity only. However, the name can only take ypu so far if you lack the inherent qualities of deliver the buyers what they want. And in this case, it delivers and does it pretty well. However, with the latest Honda Amaze already launched, the tussle for the top-spot will be much more getting interesting to watch.
